Common questions
Got questions?
Straight answers for finding drinks from what you already have at home.
What cocktails can I make with the ingredients I have?
Select the spirits, liqueurs, mixers, juices and garnishes you have in the cocktail ingredient finder. Results are sorted into ready to make, ready with a substitution, missing a garnish only and missing one essential ingredient.
How can I find cocktails when I am missing one ingredient?
Add everything you have to the finder, then check “Missing one essential ingredient”. The bottle unlock score also shows which missing bottle would unlock the most additional cocktails.
Can I save my home bar ingredients?
Yes. My Bar stores your home cocktail inventory for future searches. Create a free account to keep your saved bar and favourites when you return.
Can I make a shopping list from several cocktail recipes?
Yes. Choose several drinks from the cocktail library to build one combined cocktail shopping list. Ingredients already in My Bar are shown as owned, and the list can be printed.
Can I find cocktails by mood, strength or time?
Yes. Filter the cocktail ingredient finder by taste - sweet, sour, bitter, boozy, refreshing or creamy - strength (light, medium or strong), and ready-in time (3, 5 or 10 minutes). You can apply the same filters when you browse the full cocktail library.
What is the single best bottle to buy to unlock more cocktails?
Add what you already have to the ingredient finder and check the bottle unlock score. It ranks every bottle you're missing by how many additional cocktails it would unlock, so you always know the single best bottle to buy next. Save it to My Bar once you've stocked up.
